4 cups apples, peeled and sliced into medium chunks
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
¼ cup water
¾ cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/3 lb. butter (about 2/3 of a stick), melted
Preheat oven to 350°
Put sliced apples in 8 X 8 square cake pan.
Sprinkle cinnamon and salt over top of apples. Add water.
In separate mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar and butter. Stir until mixture is crumbly in consistency.
Pour flour mixture over top of apples, making sure to cover them as best as you can.
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown on top.
